To Be or RPG brings together a skilled group of professional artists and technicians that have all worked in some capacity with Classical Theatre Company in its humid home of Houston, Texas. This stalwart group brings a regular Dungeons & Dragons campaign live on Twitch on Monday evenings at 7PM CT. These roleplaying sessions follow a hardy band of heroes as they explore the fantastical world of Magadrinn, thwarting the plots of evil wizards, solving the most mind-bending riddles, and drinking all the ale while meeting characters and encountering stories drawn from the classical canon.

The party, now rested, looks to find more answers to the mystery of the dark cult of Izurin lurking in the shadows of Verena. They spend time in research at the Library of Verena where they learn more about the history of the capital of the Northmarch, including its past ties to the Elven kingdom of Kyrntannis and a mysterious plague that ravaged the town some 300 years ago. Then they go in search of Lenore Clemm’s grave in the local cemetery where they run into an old friend who reveals a secret buried deep underground.

Back now in the gem of the Northmarch region of the Lorn Empire – the bustling river town of Verena – our weary heroes are confronted by a foe they thought defeated. Tybalt Capulyt, the so-called Prince of Cats, seeks revenge for his being felled by Billie Wobbleaxe’s blade. Following the tense clash with the Elven swordmaster, the group visits some shops and taverns to spend their hard-earned coin. That is, until they meet a mysterious figure that delivers to them a foreboding message about the cult of a dark and ancient god operating in the shadows of Verena.

While on the trail of the lost lovers Romio and Julyyt, our adventurers stumble their way into a hidden and ancient Sylvan forest called The Deep Place. It is here that they meet the mighty King Oberon who has the couple in his sway, and is not keen on giving them up. The fairy king relents and says that if the party can defeat his champion, he will allow the young couple to leave his realm. And so begins the toughest battle our band of heroes has ever fought.

The mismatched collection of wayward heroes, having defeated the giant Caliban and his witch mother, wends its way deeper into the Forest of Arden still on the hunt for the young Montero and Capulyt. After Thexus finds a young orphaned fox kit, the group picks up the trail of the runaways in the remote village of Benfield. They are hot on their heels when a run-in with a strange little creature threatens to derail the group.

Our party of adventurers heads up the Avon River in pursuit of a pair of runaway lovers only to discover that the trail has gone cold in the village of Riverside. After a rowdy drinking game, a round of cards, and a romantic tryst for our Dwelf Druid, Vornylia Greyheart, the group finds a clue as to where the couple has fled - into the dark and wild Forest of Arden. Though apprehensive at first, our band agrees to allow an enthusiastic young guide to lead them through the mysterious wood, and they'll learn whether the legends of who - or what - resides in the forest are true.

Our tale begins in the bustling town of Verena as our ragtag group of misfits is recovering from their foray into the nearby haunted old Darrow Manor. Following a morning of mischief spurred by our bard, Billie Wobbleaxe, and trickster cleric, Delrick Haventhorn, the party heads out in search of a job to earn some coin. Not long thereafter, they stumble into a street brawl between members of two wealthy households: the Human noble Montero family and the wealthy Elven merchants, the Capulyts. The band, in an attempt to break up the deadly fight, find themselves pulled into a generations-old conflict against their will.
